Some of my images, including work from my 5 months working for CHIN in Zambia, will be on show in Fulbæchop. This is a local Gallery / Music Shop / Firewood Supplier in Bacup town centre. It is a good place to be surprised, buy some good music (especially if you are into vinyl), try on some handmade slippers from Greece and/or have a chat with Michael the owner, who runs the place in his own inimitable way.

Twenty percent of the proceeds of this exhibition will go towards supporting the fantastic work that CHIN does for children in Zambia. To find out more about what they do please visit their new website, http://www.chinzambia.org

The opening will be on Saturday 26 January at 13:00 and I would love to see you there and tell you some of the stories behind the images. If you are planning to come please let us know on this Facebook event page, so that we have an idea about how much drink and nibbles to prepare.

These are some of the kids who live in a small orphanage in Lusaka. The house is very, very basic and cramped. 15 girls sleep in one space that is about half the size of my living room. Nevertheless, they seemed happy and talked to me in good English about their lives. Most of them lived on the street before coming here, as both their parents had died from AIDS.
