When we got up this morning we could not see any mountains across the loch. An hour or so later the cloud lifted and the mountains reappeared. We went to Portree, had fish & chips for lunch in the harbour and checked out the shops. We then went to The Braes for another coastal walk, but when we got there the rain also got there and we did not fancy the slippery rocks. On the way back we stopped off in Broadford for some supplies and spotted two men with grey ponytails in the Co-Op.
The rain stopped so we did too, in Ord for a stroll on the beach. I met a few other photographers who were on a tour of the area. The front of their 4×4 was held together with Duck Tape as they had hit a deer a few days ago. It jumped out into the road when it was dark and was instantly killed. One of the guys also had a grey ponytail. Is that a trend I need to follow in a few years?
