Yesterday was one of showers and bits of sun in between. During one of the sunny bits we went down to the bay to get some air. I saw some ominous rainclouds coming from Elgol and so we turned back. We found out how quickly the weather changes here as within 10 minutes the wind had blown the rain clouds right over us. It did mean we get to see a nice rainbow.
The rain from the last few days has swollen little stream to proper, fast flowing rivers and created some new waterfalls on the peninsular on the coast across Loch Eishort. The image below is of a little stream next to our house (note the use of ‘our’, I am thinking of reverting to my squatting days and have the locks changed 😉 )
We have also had a few more version of The View. The first one was taken last night and the last one this morning. At the moment there is more blue and there are fewer dark clouds, so we’re booked on a boat trip this afternoon.
